Sandra “Sandy” Kay Smith
Age 72 of St. Charles passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022 at her home.
Per Sandy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
Sandy was born on March 14, 1950 in Saginaw, Michigan to Walter and Bernice (Casavan) Senske.
She married the love of her life, Robert E. Smith on November 26, 1983. They shared 38 years of marriage before he predeceased her in June of this year.
During her life, Sandy was a faithful fan of the Detroit Tigers, loved gardening, fishing, playing with her cats and spending time with her family. She had a lifelong dream of purchasing a Ford mustang and finally made that dream a reality. She was also a very proud grandmother when her first grandson was born on September 11, 2006.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Tamara (Randy) Malcolm, Nickol (Justin) Parnicky; grandson, Bryce Malcom; brother, Dwayne (Sandy) Senske; sister-in-law, Cris Senske; as well as many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
She is predeceased by her husband; parents; and brother, Allen Senske.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Humane Society of Saginaw County.
