Mr. Andrew Ollings was born December 15, 1929, in England, Arkansas. He was the son of Will and Marjorie (Mary) Jones.

Andrew gave his life to Christ at an early age and moved to Flint Michigan and became a life-long member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. He was a retiree of Truck and Bus after 35 years. Andrew’s hobbies were running, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. He was also a member of the Layman’s Association.

Andrew Ollings leaves to cherish his memory; 1 daughter, Muriel Ollings-Pegues of Flint MI; 5 grandchildren; Vernice Ollings of Flint MI, Angie Clarke of Lawrenceville GA, Dana Clay, Lakeland TN, Phyllis (James) Jones of Oxford MS, Gerlean Leverette of Flint MI. 14 great-grandchildren; Alexis (DJ) Causey, Shanayah Burden, Jessie Betts, Muriel Ollings, Eugenia Leverette, Danielle Leverette-Coleman, Lakiesha (Daiquiri) Hines, Danny Leverette, Jr, Jeremy Leverette all of Flint MI, Damon Clay, Dallas TX, Jasmine Pegues, Oxford MS, Phillip Jones and Jaqurius Jones, Nashville TN; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Including special friends, Jake Moten, Richard Rich, Herman Miller, James and Gayle Ragston.

Andrew Ollings was preceded in death by his wife, Travlee Ollings-Vanburen; parents, Marjorie (Mary) and Will Jones; 4 sisters, Ollie Mae Williams, Daisy Trice, Ruby Young, Lucille Nelson; 2 brothers, Roy Williams, L.C. Jones. Special friend, Virginia Applewhite.

The family would like to express special thanks to Heart-to-Heart Hospice, Hurley Medical Center 4th and 7th floor nurses, The Greater Ephesians Church Family, Jake Morton, James and Gayle Ragston and Richard Rich.
