FOWLER, Roy Robert Sr. - Age 76, of Swartz Creek, died, Thursday, February 20, 2020. Memorial service will take place 11 AM, Saturday, February 29, 2020 at First Baptist Church of Swartz Creek, 5372 Seymour Rd, Swartz Creek. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make contributions to the First Baptist Church of Swartz Creek. Roy was born October 20, 1943 in Tabor City, South Carolina the son of Earl and Gertrude Fowler. He worked for 30 years for GM Truck and Bus, UAW Local 598. Roy and Shryl were united in marriage on February 4, 1969 in Flint. He was a member of the Flint Association of the Deaf and Swartz Creek Baptist Church. In his free time, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing and woodworking. He is survived by his loving wife, Shryl Fowler; 7 children, Nancy (Jim) Shivlie, Dennis (Connie) Chrisler, Roy Fowler Jr., David Chrisler, Randy Fowler, Rocky (Mary) Fowler, and Robin (David Cross) Fowler; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 2 siblings, Irvin (Carol) Fowler and Roger (Janice) Fowler. Roy was preceded in death by his 2 children, James Chrisler, Glenda Brooks; granddaughter, Samantha Fowler; parents; and 6 siblings, JP, Larry, Levonia, Toby, Marvin and Allen.
