Faulkner, Katherine Edith - Age 87, of Burton, Michigan, died April 25, 2026.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM Friday, May 1, 2026 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan 48507.
Visitation will be held 12 PM Friday, May 1, 2026 at the funeral home until the time of the service. Interment at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc, Michigan at a later time.
Katherine was born January 26, 1939 in Charlevoix, Michigan, the daughter of Robert McDermott and Sophronia (Vosburg) McDermott. She was married to Edwin Faulkner and he preceded her in death September 22, 1978. Katherine worked as the Head Cook for Atherton Schools for many years. She enjoyed spending countless hours working out in the yard on her flowers. Being born and raised in Charlevoix, Michigan she loved Lake Michigan.
Surviving are: her children, Kim Kilbride, Shelly Fox, Kelly Hart, and Eddie "Bo" Faulkner; four grandchildren, Brian Fox, Megan Fox, Jennifer Terry, and Ashley Hart; seventeen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; sister Betty Slade; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Bobby McDermott; brother Joe McDermott; grandson, Edward Swain; and brother, Robbie McDermott.
