CARTER, Georgia (Stone) – of Davison, Michigan, age 72, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2026. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Richfield County Park from 12-5 PM for everyone to attend. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Five Points of Hope, a Michigan foundation to help families with cost going through cancer treatment.
Georgia was born in Flint, Michigan on April 6, 1954, daughter of the late George and June (Valentine) Stone. She grew up in Flushing, Michigan with her two sisters Becky and Penny. Georgia graduated from Flushing High School and went on to Mott Community College. She later moved to Flint to pursue a career in General Motors. Georgia moved to Davison, Michigan after her retirement.
She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, William, Matthew and Cora. Georgia loved spending time at places like Seven Lakes State Park and Lake Huron. She enjoyed fishing in her younger years, being outdoors and playing cards. Georgia spent a lot of time in her later years spending time with her family for holiday’s, birthdays and events supporting her grandchildren.
Georgia is survived by her loving daughters, Crystal (Biff) Hurteau, Cynthia Boone and Kelly Westover; grandchildren, William, Matthew and Cora; sister, Becky Frieburger (Stone); nephew, Jimmy (Angie) Hawkins; aunt Nancy Randall; and many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by sister, Penny Bottoms (Stone).
