HURTADO, Melody Ann – of Clio, age 37, died Friday, December 17, 2021 at her residence. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. Pastor Tom Forge officiating. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Memorial contributions can be made to the family for future designation.
Melody was born February 21, 1984 in Flint, Michigan to Michael and Tammy (Roth) Rock. She grew up in Clio and graduated from Clio High School with the class of 2004. Melody received her Bachelor’s Degree from Rochester University in Children’s Education. She married Fernando “Fred” Hurtado on April 20, 2013 in Otisville, Michigan. Melody was a Substitute Teacher and latch key supervisor at Lacure Elementary in Clio, Michigan. She was a member of Vision Pointe Church in Otisville. Melody was a lifetime girl scout and loved the outdoors. She enjoyed fishing, camping, canoeing and reading. However, her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving are: Husband, Fred Hurtado; Mother, Tammy (Scott) Rock; Siblings, Michael Rock II, Mitchell (Crystal) Rock; Nieces and Nephew, Bradley Rock, Desiree Rock, Maci Rock; Father and Mother in law, Charles (Pat) Hurtado; several brother and sister in laws.
