Robinson, Velma "Jean" - Age 91, of Flushing, MI, and Zephyrhills, FL, died April 28, 2021. Visitation will be held 3-7 PM Monday May 10 and 3-7 PM Tuesday May 11 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Private family services will be held and may be viewed by live stream at Jean's page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com at 1 PM Wednesday May 12. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital . She was born August 31, 1929 in Flint the daughter of Luther M. and Ruth Bonnie (Bell) Rogers. She married Wayne L. Robinson on May 28, 1949 in Angola, IN. Jean was very devoted to her family. She was extremely talented in sewing. Surviving are: two children, David (Carmen) Cramer of Flint, Karen "Sue" (Denny) Bennett; grandchildren, Andrea (Chris) Atkinson, Stephanie Hatherill; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Alexis, Josh, Ashlee, Madison, Jared, MaKenna; great-great-granddaughter Adalynn; sister Wanda (Gene) Ford; brother-in-law Melvin Robinson; many nieces and nephews. She also leaves her closest friends Ed Carrick, Maria Shamaya, Jean Warren, Katherin Bowman, Brian Fouracke, of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Wayne Robinson; two brothers, Allen Manis and Lloyd Rogers, and their spouses Gloria Manis and Gloria Rogers; sisters, Billie Sue Baird and Joyce Churches, and their spouses Harry Baird and Robert Churches, sisters-in-law, Irene Robinson, Ruth Riegel and her spouse Richard Riegel. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Absolute Hospice.
