CANNON, Jamie Dale - Age 74, of Bushnell FL, formerly of Flushing, MI. Passed away March 31, 2022 in Florida. Memorial Service 11 AM Friday, April 22, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Memorial Gathering will take place from 10 AM until the time of service Friday. Contributions in Jamie's name appreciated to Whaley Children's Center at whaleychildren.org. Jamie was born December 12, 1947 in Paragould, Arkansas the son of William & Jewel (Gist) Cannon. He graduated from St. Matthew's High School in Flint, class of 1967. Also earning an Associate's Degree from the University of Michigan. Jamie was a Skilled Trade Supervisor at Delphi, formerly A.C. Spark Plug, for 37 and a half years. He was inducted into the Flint Hall of Fame and the Michigan State Legends of the Game. Jamie had an overall love of sports, specifically golf, softball, and hunting. He was a huge UofM fan and had a passion for motorcycles. Jamie is survived by his mother, Jo Etue; wife Susan (nee Cheek); children, Jeff (Sheila) Cannon, Jennifer (Chris) Locey, Justin (Cori) Cannon, Jenni (Bill) Eaton, Tracy (Shane) Moore; grandchildren, Andrew, Sophia, Nickolas, Bradyn, Lauryn, Lukas, Emori, Kayla, Anthony, Olivia, Gabrielle, Blake, and Preston; great-grandson William; brothers, Brad (Rhonda), Doug (Arlene); sister Tammy; and several nieces and nephews. Jamie was proceeded in death by his parents, William & Jewel Cannon and his brothers Gerald Wayne Cannon Jack Cannon. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
