Richard D. Buning Sr., age 63 passed away surrounded by his family on Thanksgiving night. He is the beloved husband of the late Catherine . Dear father of Richard (Kelly) Buning, Allen Buning, Barbara (Bobby) Buning, Todd (Julianna) Buning, Thomas (Tammy) Shimmel, Kelly (Jeremy) Kowal-Dobbs, the late Arnold “JR” (Mandy) Shimmel, Mary (Mike) Dragonetti and Joshua Shimmel. Grandpa of Tommy, Matt, Shay, Mike, Ricky, the late Ben, Jordan, Brandon, Ryan, Christina, Brodye, Kaleb, Chloe, Sylvia, Samantha, Seth, Summer, Patrick, Justin, Denny, Kaylee, Kaitlynn, Kaycee, Jazmynn and Jasper. Great Grandpa of 9. Brother of Leon (Ruth) Buning, Cindy (George) Myers and Dave Buning. Richard also leaves his special friend Debbie Thomas, several nieces, nephews and loving friends. His funeral service will be Wednesday, 2pm at Temrowski Family Funeral Home, 500 Main St., Fenton. Friends may visit beginning at 12noon.
