ANGST (LILEY), Virginia C. – Of Flushing, age 91, died Thursday, August 5, 2021 at McLaren-Flint.
Cremation has taken place, per her wishes no service will be held.
Virginia was born in Flint, Michigan on October 22, 1929, the daughter of the late Claude and Alpha (Hahn) Liley.
She was united in marriage in 1948 to William Angst and they enjoyed 60 happy years together until his death in 2008.
Surviving are children, Christine Cozacioc, Diane Angst (John Plaxco), William “Butch” (Dana) Angst, Martha (Rick) Hansen and John Michael Angst;
grandchildren, Jami Zbercot, Alex Hansen and Wesley Hansen;
4 great-grandchildren;
sisters, Shirley Schultz and Marilyn Bradley.
Virginia was proud of special longtime friend, Leroy Hayward as well as her Innisbrook and Woodhaven friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sister, Patricia Norris; son-in-law, Peter Cozacioc; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Betsy Liley; brothers-in-law, Dr. Clarence Schultz and Dr. Don Bradley.
The family would like to thank the Woodhaven and Homestead staffs for their kind care; and special neighbor, Janet, for her friendship.
