MITCHELSON, Francine J., age 55, of Burton, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2022 surrounded by her family. Funeral Services will be 3PM Monday, July 18, 2022 at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc. Visitation will be 1PM until time of service at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Fenton-Adopt-A-Pet.
Francine was born July 1, 1967 the daughter of Kyran and Mary Ann (Hughes) Mitchelson. Francine was a loyal Mother and Grandmother who loved making memories with her family. She was an independent soul who enjoyed being outdoors, gardening and caring for the yard. She found joys in the little things in life, such as a hot coffee at sunrise, or a nice nap. Francine had a mischievous giggle and a contagious smile. Her compassionate heart transpired into a love for animals throughout her life and was a large part of her joy. Francine would say, that any day that included sports was a good day.
Surviving are her 3 children, Kylie Kaiser (Chris) of Davison, Emily Mitchelson (Max) of Columbiaville, Mitchell Wright (McKenna) of Fenton; 6 grandchildren, Christian, Jack, Harrison, Cecelia, Merit and Charlotte; mother, Mary Ann Mitchelson; brother, Carey Mitchelson; 5 sisters, Sandy Purdue, Linda Kennedy (Jim), Jody Lehnert, Eileen Simms (John), Tricia Mitchelson (John); many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Kyran Mitchelson. The family extends heartfelt appreciation to Genesys ICU nurses, Jodi and Oliver who provided loving care for Francine and guided our family through this very difficult time.
