Taylor, Daniel “Dan” – of Clio, age 70, passed away Monday, October 17, 2022, at his residence surrounded by family. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at 2PM on Friday, October 21, 2022, at Mt. Morris Church of Christ – 1262 South St. Jim Watson will be officiating. The family will receive visitors at church on Friday from 1PM until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
Dan was born March 7, 1952, in Flint, Michigan, to the late William and Kathryn (Hursh) Taylor. He attended Beecher High School, graduating with the class of 1970, after that he then attended Mott Community College for trade school. Dan married Judy Wylie on June 23, 1973; they made 49 years of memories together. He worked for General Motors as a Model Maker retiring in 2008. He was the president of the Clio Little League for 3 years, helping anyone he could. Dan enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He was an avid University of Michigan fan, on the good days and bad. Most of all he loved his children and grandchildren with his whole heart. He was a great husband, father and papa who will be missed by many.
Surviving are: Wife of 49 years, Judy Taylor; Children: Rebecca (Steven) Carter, Gregory (Pam) Taylor, Laura (Jack) Beatty, Christina (Nick) Stafford, and Stephen Taylor; 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; Siblings: David (Barbara) Taylor, Thomas (Dana) Taylor, Susan (William) Morgan; several nieces and nephews.
