Tivis Everette Davis, age 77, of East Tawas, Michigan, formerly of the Flint area, passed away July 4, 2021 at Ascension St. Joseph Hospital in Tawas City, Michigan.
Tivis was born February 29, 1944 in Beckley, West Virginia to the late John Lee and Audrey Loretta (Miner) Davis. He began a long-time career with General Motors and retired in 1995. He enjoyed woodworking, arts and crafts, hunting and fishing. He loved antique cars and hot rods. He enjoyed watching music shows (The Voice, etc) and enjoyed listening to music and singing karaoke.
Tivis is survived by his children, Todd (Gwen) Davis and Trisa (Bobby) Vaughan both of Lillington, North Carolina; grandchildren – Kris Kutzer, Lauren (Charles Brickhouse), David Kutzer, Joseph Brown, William (Cheyenne) Case, Alicia Lucille; great grandchildren – Isabella, Douglas, Elizabeth, Hunter, Kurt, Krieger, Jeffrey, Jaxon, Savanna and Kaitlynn; step daughter, Shelley Clinton; step son, Gary (April) Clinton; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents, Tivis was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Lee Davis in 2014.
