Cook, Ronald James – of Davison, MI, age 76, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2020. A private funeral mass will be held at St. John’s Catholic Church in Davison. Burial of cremated remains will follow at St. John’s Cemetery.
Ron was born in Bad Axe, MI on June 14, 1943, son of the late Clements and Cecelia (Hund) Cook. He married Diana Woycehoski on August 10, 1963.
Ron, a strong union man, retired from Buick in 1999. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, baking, and woodworking. He also enjoyed volunteering his time and talents to his parish community.
Ron is preceded in death by brother, Ray Cook and brother-in-law, Roy Teahen.
Ron is survived by his beautiful wife of 57 years Diana; 4 children: Chris Cook (Beth), Teresa St. Aubin (Dave), Matt Cook (Tracy), Darren Cook (Kim) and 10 beautiful grandchildren (Ashley, Alaina, David, Emily, Amber, Megan, Jenna, Ellie, Molly, and Ava) who will miss their Jaja dearly. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters: Deloris (Robert) Dekoski, Harold (Mary Ann) Cook, Rita Teahen, Earl (Ann) Cook, Donna (Ron) Wolschleger, and Rich (Rhonda) Cook and in-laws: Wayne (Bonnie) Woycehoski, Bryan (Kathy) Woycehoski, Terry (Mary) Woycehoski, and Jeff (Leslie) Woycehoski.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Catholic Church in Davison for Mass to be said in Ron’s memory or to the St. John’s Men’s Club of which Ron was a member.
