Neall, William Joseph of Flushing, age 92, died Sunday, March 3, 2024, at his home. Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will take place at a later date. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
William was born in Flint, Michigan on March 23, 1931, the son of Daniel and Hazel Tovey Neall. He married his beloved wife Evelyn Wilhelmi on April 19, 1958. She preceded him in death on April 12, 2020. William worked as an Engineer for AC Spark Plug for over 35 years. After his retirement from General Motors, he was employed by American SunRoof Corporation for 10 years. William loved spending time on the Great Lakes on his boat. He enjoyed cars of all kinds and especially enjoyed going to car shows with his grandson and best friend, Andrew. Together with his family, he loved camping and spending weekends up north and swimming. He will be missed by his faithful companions, his dog, Andy and cat, Bandit.
William is survived by his children, Joe Neall, Jeff and wife Lisa Neall, Patti and husband Andy Potter; his greatest joy, his grandson, Andrew Potter; sister-in-law, Rosie Belanger; and nephews, Andrew and Bryan Belanger. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard Neall.
