“Gifford, Margaret “Peggy”- of Mt. Morris, 89, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 2, 2023. Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 12th, 2023.
Peggy was born March 20th, 1934 in Ubly, Michigan, to the late Gerald and Margaret Gleason. She attended Mt. Morris High School, graduating Class of 1952. On March 13th, 1954, Peggy married the love of her life, Norman Gifford, married for 67 years. She was a purchasing Manager for General Motors for 30 years, retiring in 1987. She enjoyed fishing, gambling and traveling. You could often find her at the family cabin in Glennie, MI. She loved her family dearly and was a wonderful woman. Peggy enjoyed the most out of life and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Surviving are: Sons: Norman (Dawn) Gifford and Lee (Judy Migut) Gifford. Grandchildren: Aron Gifford, Brandon Gifford and Alicia Gifford. 4 Great Grandchildren; Aiden, Max, Solomon and Paige.
