Barber, Michael Edward - Age 54, of Swartz Creek, died December 16, 2021 at home surrounded by his family. A memorial will be announced. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek.
Michael was born March 3, 1967, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Adreon Barber and Jeannine (Langdon) Barber. A graduate of Fenton High School, he went on to become a Master Electrician for General Motors, working on everything from 15,000 volts to fiber optics. Family and friends will remember his passion for riding motorcycles, as well as participating in Jeep Jamborees and the BawgDawgs 4WD Club. He enjoyed playing softball, golfing, and working on his project cars. An intelligent and loyal father, husband, son, brother, and friend, he bonded with those around him by attending concerts, the Michigan Renaissance Festival and playing interactive online virtual games.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Barber; daughter, Arianna Barber; step-son, David Alm, Jr.; mother, Jeannine Barber; sister and brother-in-law, Dianne and Joe Humpert; nephews, Jordan and Jacob. He was preceded in death by father, Adreon Barber.
