ZOROMSKI, Gary Wayne, Sr. – of Metamora, MI, age 80, passed away Friday, July 15, 2022. A Funeral Service will be held 12 PM Friday, July 22, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Michael Lutz officiating. Interment immediately following the service in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 4-7 PM Thursday, July 21, 2022 and 11 AM-12 PM Friday, July 22, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, 47120 Romeo Plank, Macomb, MI 48044, in Gary’s memory.
Gary was born in Clio, MI on March 29, 1942, son of the late John and Norma (Bucholz) Zoromski. He married Nancy Ann Cronkright on February 8, 1964 and she preceded him in death on January 29, 1991. On June 11, 2005, Gary married Diana Stella Melanshek and she preceded him in death on May 25, 2008. Gary retired from General Motors in 1986 after 30 years of service. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Macomb, MI. Gary enjoyed woodworking, hunting and was an avid collector.
Gary is survived by 2 sons, Gary (Kelly) Zoromski, Jr. and Kevin (Rebecca) Zoromski; 4 grandchildren, Krystin Premo, Liam Zoromski, Ryan McCallister and Jenessa Phillips; 1 great-granddaughter, Alyana McCallister; 2 sisters, MaryJo Banks and Bette Watson; many other loving family members and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Norma Zoromski; 2 wives, Nancy Zoromski and Diana Zoromski; 2 brothers, Jack Zoromski and Richard “Dick” Zoromski.
