CASON, Nancy – of Davison, age 80 passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Michigan Medicine - University of Michigan. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Monday, June 13, 2022 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 706 W. Flint Street, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Todd Frusti officiating. Interment will be 9:30 AM Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 PM on Sunday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to JDRF.org, in Nancy’s memory.
Nancy was born in Flint, MI on April 6, 1942, daughter of the late Bernard and Marjorie (Greeson) Morris. She graduated from Flint Southwestern High School in 1960. Nancy married Doyne Cason on March 24, 1964. She loved to walk, arts and crafts and spending time with her family, grandkids and her dog, Charlie.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Doyne; children, Tina (Cason) Carlson (husband, Jerry) of Fenton, Bernie Cason (wife, Kristi) of Jupiter, FL; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; siblings, Diane (Bruce) Holden, Joan (Vern) Roberts, Millie Mather, Sue (Curtis) Chastain and Bernadette Ruhstorfer; special friends, Cheryl and Jennifer; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by brothers-in-law, Richard Mather and Tom Ruhstorfer.
