PITMAN, Jack G. - age 84, of Whittemore, MI, formerly of Fenton, died March 25, 2022. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide Street, Fenton, MI 48430 with Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Fenton. Visitation will be held 10 AM - 11 AM Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3901 M-65, Hale, MI 48739. Jack was born April 27, 1937 in Flint, the son of John and Eunice Pitman. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp and retired form General Motors. Jack was a current member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Hale and a former member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Fenton. Surviving are: wife, Virginia; children, Pamela (Todd) Davis, Linda (Joe) Hicks, Angela Toppings, and Steve (Kim) Pitman; 15 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren; sister, Susan Briscoe. He was preceded in death by: two sons, Steven Braunscheidel and Blake Pitman. Arrangements by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430.
