Graham, Barbara J. – of Clio, age 81, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 1PM Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle - 5255 Linden Rd, Swartz Creek. Pastor Tim McKinnies to officiate. The burial will take place Wednesday January 29th, at 2:30PM in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors at church from 11AM until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Barbara was born on March 30, 1943, in Springton, West Virginia, Barbara was a beloved daughter of the late James and Arlena (Blevens) Thorn. She married her soulmate, James Graham, on October 15, 1960, and together they built a life filled with love and joy. As the proud owner of Graham Adult Foster Care, she dedicated many years to caring for others, a testament to her heart of gold and her passion for helping those in need. Barbara was a devoted woman of faith, actively participating in the congregation at Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle, which nurtured her spirit throughout her life.
Family was Barbara’s greatest treasure. Her legacy shines through her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, with whom she shared countless memorable moments. Known for her vibrant personality, Barbara filled her days watching her favorite soap operas and exploring the open roads, always surrounded by love and laughter. Barbara was a pillar of strength for her family, her unwavering support and wisdom holding them together through life’s challenges. Her spirit will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her.
Surviving are: Children: Tonia Maitland, Gregory (Debbie) Graham; Daughter-In-Law, Tina Graham; Grandchildren: Aaron (Mareshah) Graham, Nathan (Ashtyn) Graham, and Holly (Matthew) Magulick; Great grandchildren: Aiden, Carson, Sutton, Ava, Jaelynn, Gianna, Madison; Several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in passing by her husband, James Graham; Son, Jimmy Graham; Son-In-Law, Daniel P. Maitland; Many brothers and sisters.
