HARPER, Robert Charles - Age 53, of Flint Township, died Tuesday, April 12, 2022. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek (A live stream of the service will be available on Robert's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Pastor Rob Prince officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 4-8 PM and Tuesday from 12:00 PM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Robert Charles Memorial Fund, c/o Sharp Funeral Homes.
Robert was born August 11, 1968 in Mt. Clemens, the son of Glenn Eugene Harper and Donna Marie Clark. He was a 1987 graduate of Holly High School. He had resided in Flint Township since 1989 coming from Holly. He was a cook for John's Coney Island for many years. Robert loved football and the Scooby-Doo cartoon.
Surviving are: his children,Warren, and Charlie Rose; mother, Donna and Marvin Raniszewski; siblings, Glenn Harper, Jr., Mark (Stacey) Raiszewski, Helena (Paul) Arft, Rene' (Cam) McDaniel, Steven Harper, Kenneth (Linda) Harper, Johnny Harper, and Beth Harper; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Eugene Harper; and sister, Sonya. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
