Wess L. Brown Sr. age 58 of Durand, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM on Sunday, January 25, 2026 at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, 501 N. Saginaw St., Durand, MI 48429. Pastor Fred Brown will be officiating. Burial will follow to Greenwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Saturday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM and one hour prior to the service.
Wess Lloyd Brown was born on October 29, 1967 in Flint, MI a son of Milton and Carol (Stone) Brown. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and hunting.
Wess is survived by his sons, Wess (Kelly) Brown Jr. and Brett (Lauryn Gibbs) Brown; granddaughter, Madilynn Brown; mother, Carol Brown; siblings, Curt (Stacey) Brown, Darlene (Kirby) Yarbrough, Ruth (Rod) Toppi, Renee Hazel and Debora Kreinbrink; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Milton Brown.
