BRINK, Carl, Jr. – Of Flint, age 71, died Friday, July 2, 2021 at Birchwood Meadows.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Steve Wood officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 11 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Carl was born in Flint, Michigan on May 10, 1950, the son of Carl L., Sr. and Mona E. (Tobias) Brink.
He loved to watch the Detroit Lions, whether they won or lost.
He took Michigan over Michigan State; called to brag when Michigan beat State.
He liked to watch John Wayne movies and Walker Texas Ranger.
Carl was on a bowling league and loved playing softball at family gatherings.
Most of all he loved his boys, grandkids, family and was always there when you needed him.
Mr. Brink retired from GM.
Surviving are sons, Gary and wife Eulonda Brink,
Lonny and wife Amy Brink and
Adam Brink;
daughter-in-law, Rachel Brink;
grandchildren, Cyndell, Keanna, Katelyn, Amelia, Ethan and Paisley;
brothers, Dave Brink, Ray and wife Karen Beech;
sister, Carlette and husband Dave Joseph;
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mona Beech; father, Raymond Beech; brother and sister-in-law, Rick and Dottie Brink.
