BIGGER, Marthe Willemot - Age 77, of Oscoda formerly of Fenton, died Monday, August 9, 2021. Per her request cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held 1:30 PM Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alpena Cancer Center.
Marthe was born October 28, 1943 in Flint, the daughter of Ivan and Marie (Skunda) Willemot. She was a 1961 graduate of Flint Central High School and she attended Central Michigan University and Mott Community College. She married Rodney R. Bigger April 4, 1987 in Flint. She had been employed by Curtis Printing in Flint as a office manager. Marthe was a former member of Flushing Presbyterian Church and Harrisville Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed playing the piano, reading, and history.
Surviving are: her husband, Rodney; children, Laura (Christopher) Martin Cook of Colorado Springs, CO, Gina (Steven) Martin Brancheau of Swartz Creek, Jennifer Bigger of Newport Beach, CA, Ryan Bigger of Daytona Beach, FL, and Ashley (Erin) Bigger of Hartland; grandchildren, Chase, Brianna, Hudson, Sienna, Kiley, Liam, and Arthur; nephew, David (Christina) Botbyl of Traverse City.
