LANTER, Rose - Of Flint, age 89, died Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Friday, January 6, 2023 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Visitation 3-8pm Thursday and 10am Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Rose was born in Flint, Michigan on July 6, 1933, the daughter of the late Martin and Helen (Mock) Heit. She was employed with Kearsley Schools as a cook/baker/server for many years. Rose was known for her cinnamon rolls. She enjoyed craft shows, crocheting, Bingo and traveling with her friends. Above all else, she loved to be with her family.
Surviving are children, Sherry (Allen) Cascadden, Cleadous (Cheryl)Lanter, Vicky (Michael) Thompson;
grandchildren, Bruce (Karin) Cascadden, Ken (Kathy) Cascadden, Curtis (Mary) Lanter, Craig (Jamie) Lanter, Corey Lanter, Kevin Thompson and Laura Bentley,
great-grandchildren, Tiffani, Amanda, Brendon, Jaiden, Justin Chelsea, Autumn, Amanda (Jake), Hayley, Jacob, Katelynn, Dylan, Reagan, Carson, Tristan, Damian, Travis and Kyler;
and three great-great-grandchildren.
