HODGSON, Kenneth Charles - Age 85, of Flushing, passed away Monday, December 28, 2020. A graveside service will take place at a later date in the summer of 2021 at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, Mt. Morris. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Kenneth was born on March 26, 1935 in Monroe, Michigan, the son of Charles and Lillian (Wells) Hodgson. He proudly served in the United States Air Force for 4 years. Kenneth and Shirley Beardslee were united in marriage on August 26, 1961. He worked as a truck driver for many years before his retirement. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his family and watching football. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Shirley Hodgson; 2 children, Christine Hodgson and Eric (Deirdre) Hodgson; 2 grandsons, Bradley and Dylan Hodgson; and many nieces. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lillian Hodgson; and sister Phyllis Holtz. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
