Cook, Philip T. - Age 92, of Grayling, formerly of Grand Blanc, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2023. Funeral services will be held 6 PM Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Interment will be held at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery next to his wife, Joyce. Visitation will be held 2 PM Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Philip was born December 6, 1930 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the son of Royal Joseph and Helen (Averill) Cook. He graduated from Flint Central High School. Philip was a skilled trades welder for General Motors before retiring in 1991. He was an avid fly fisherman and also was a member of the National Ski Patrol. Philip is survived by his children, Dawn (John) Tuohy of Swartz Creek, Philip (Lynette) Cook of Grand Blanc, Charles (Stephanie) Cook of Grand Blanc; grandchildren, Eric (Katie) Cook, Brad Cook, Nicholas (Casey) Cook, Tori (Shawn) Partlo, Chad Cook, Luke Cook; great-grandchildren, Emmett, Parker, Jack, Sloane, Westlyn, Emilia, Eila, and Harbor; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Joyce; great-granddaughter, Fiona; siblings, Barbara Cook, James Cook, and Robert Cook.
