Lisa Loraine Williams, age 46.
Passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on December 5, 2023, after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
Lisa was born on March 22, 1977, the daughter of Dennis Huey and Valorie (Smith) Huey. She graduated from New Lothrop High School in 1996, then went on to marry her soulmate, Stephen Williams on May 15, 1999. Together they had four children, Nicholas, Alexander, Elyssa, and Avery.
Lisa was very involved in her community. For many years, she served as a volunteer at New Lothrop Public Schools as a lunch, recess, and classroom aid, and was a very active member of the PTO. She had a niche for World War II literature, which she loved to share with her family, embroidering, cross-stitch, diamond art, and staying connected with her friends and family on Facebook.
Lisa is survived by her husband of 24 years, Stephen Williams; children, Nicholas Williams, Alexander Williams, Elyssa Williams, and Avery Williams; siblings, Eric (Mandy) Huey, Rebecca (Donald) Krupp, and Amy Handley; her mother, Valorie Huey, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Huey, brother-in-law, Matthew Handley, grandparents, and mother and father - in - law.
A visitation will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023, at Mt. Sinai Lutheran Church in Montrose, Michigan at 12:00 PM. A memorial service will take place at 1:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations are suggested to Lisa's family.
