Matthew Wayne Hinman, age 53, passed away suddenly on March 23, 2021 in Flint, Michigan. Visitation will be held on March 31, 2021 from 4pm until 7pm at Brown Funeral Home - 1480 E. Hill Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 1pm with a one hour visitation prior to service at Brown Funeral Home. David Powell to officiate.
Matthew was born on February 20, 1968 in Flint, Michigan to the late Wayne and Sandra Hinman. As a child, he attended Genesee Christian School. Matthew graduated from Flint Northern.
He was quite talented and loved to draw and play guitar. Matthew enjoyed socializing with his friends by going to the movies and bowling. He loved to travel and baseball. Matthew was a fan of antique cars
and music, especially classic rock. He was an avid lover of food, coffee and chocolate milk.
Matthew was a faithful member of Davison Meadows Baptist Church. He was also on a bowling league with the Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization. Matthew was a wonderful person, and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his sister, Julie Hinman Knight; brothers, Warren (Lesley) Hinman, Albert (Sandra) Hinman and David Peters; close friends David (Keeley) Powell and William Sheldon; cousins, David, Dawn and Lori Novak; and many nieces and nephews. Matthew was preceded in death by his parents. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Davison Meadows Baptist Church and the American Lung Association in memory of Matthew. |
