Hough, William Bert, Jr. of Bear Lake, formerly of Flushing, age 74, died Monday, December 14, 2020, at his home. Private funeral services will take place at Rossell Funeral Home and private burial will be at Sunset Hills Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society-Lymphoma.
William was born in Flint, Michigan on October 12, 1946, the son of William Bert, Sr. and Ruthann (Freese) Hough. He married Jill Blackman on December 22, 1967, in Flint. William proudly served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He was employed by Citizen’s Bank for over 35 years. William was active in the Mt. Morris Kiwanis Club. He enjoyed golfing and was on the Citizen’s Bank golf league. William was a trainer for the Crim Road Race and participated as a walker for many years. He also enjoyed being outdoors camping and bird watching.
William is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jill; children, Heather and husband Tony Stephens, William B. Hough, III and wife Amy; grandchildren, Blake and wife Jenna Stephens, Blayne Stephens; William Hough, IV, and Anna Hough; brother, Robert Hough; nieces, Isabella and Carly; and many loved in-laws, nieces, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Teresa Hough.
