Jeanette was just a small town girl from Matewan, WV, born June 14th, 1943. She and her little girl Donetta moved to Flint, MI in 1963, where she met her future husband, Clyde Marsh. They were married March 18, 1967, and Jeanette gained two more daughters, Pamela Sue and Wanda Jean and then came their son, Mark Anthony, making their family complete. Jeanette's first love was Jesus Christ and she was honored to introduce you to Him. She was an exceptional mother, spiritual mentor to many. She had many talents and passions but her favorite passion was reading her bible and worshipping God. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lon and Hazel Mayhorn; her husband, Clyde O. Marsh; son, Mark Anthony; brothers, Sammy Mahon, Neal Mahon; sister, Louise Compton; sister in law, Caroline; special friend, Barbara Parker. Surviving Jeanette is her daughter, Donetta Louise; step daughters, Pamela (Jeff) Murphy, Wanda (Scott) Parker; sisters, Opal (Wade) Morrison, Vickie (Jim) Pelfrey; daughter in law, Julie Smith; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and special friend, Linda Carley. Jeanette will be greatly and deeply missed. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, November 7, 2022 at More Life Tabernacle, Swartz Creek MI at 1:00 PM with Bishop Jerry Stoner and Pastor Robert Kitchen officiating. Burial will follow in Flint Memorial Cemetery, Flint, MI. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Monday, at the church. Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, 6357 E. Pea Ridge Road, Huntington, WV 25705 is caring for the family with arrangements in West Virginia. Sharp Funeral Homes will be assisting the family with services in MIchigan.
