Wayne Ronald Raver Jr. - Age 62, of Flint, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2023 at Hurley Medical Center. A funeral service will take place at 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday.
Wayne was born on August 12, 1961, in Chicago, Illinois the son of Dr. Wayne Raver and Patricia (Skryzmoski) Todd. He graduated from Carman High School with the class of 1979. Wayne worked for many years with the UA Local 370 Plumbers & Pipefitters and most recently a plumbing inspector for the City of Flint. He enjoyed playing the drums, collecting hats and NASCAR, gardening and an avid Detroit Lions fan.
He is survived by his daughter, Faith Raver; father, Dr. Wayne Raver; mother, Patricia Todd; sisters, Amy (Tom) Visinho, Sheri (Ed) Ulbrich and Cindy Ballogg; and several nieces and nephews. Tribute may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com |
