Carolyn Sue Roy
Age 74, of Tawas City, MI and formerly of Tuscola passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Medilodge of Tawas City. She was born on October 12, 1947 in Flint, MI to the late Leo and Reva Haver (Draper). Carolyn graduated from Millington High School and then continued her education at Baker College. She worked several different jobs, however, enjoyed working as an event planner at the Bavarian Inn Motor Lodge the most. More recently she spent 10 years as a customer service associate at Walmart. Carolyn loved to garden, fish, knit, do arts and crafts and she was a talented artist. Most important to her was spending time with family and friends. She was a member of the Odd Fellow and Rebecca’s. Carolyn is survived by her 3 children, daughter Caprice Bissonnette of Davison, MI, daughter Teresa (Cliff) Lyden of Davison, MI, son Heath (Claran) Bissonnette of Tawas City, MI; brother Fred Haver of Davison, MI; 5 grandchildren, Brandi (Adrian) Elmahdawi, Elizabeth (Josh) Bissonnette, Nichole (Nick) Bissonnette, Caleb (Danni) Lyden, Paul (Olivia) Lyden and 3 great grandchildren, Noah, Isabella and Hassan. She is also survived by her lifelong friend, Dennis Bissonnette, Sr, and her beloved pet, Dozer. In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her sons, Dennis Bissonnette, Jr, Scott Bissonnette and her brother Glenn Haver. A celebration of life will be held from 12 pm – 6 pm on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at the Historic Kitchen School, Davison, MI (4010 S. State Rd, State Rd. at Bristol Rd.). Mom/Grandma….you left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide, although we cannot see you, you will always be at our side. We love you! |
