REMINGTON, Rosemary “Terry” Teresa (Broniak) – of Burton, MI, age 75, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Robert D. Taylor officiating. Interment immediately following the service in Crestwood Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 4-7 PM Friday, March 15, 2024 and 10-11 AM Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in Terry’s memory.
Terry was born in Flint, MI on March 18, 1948, daughter of the late John and Vera (Schmiedova) Broniak. She married Lester Remington on November 29, 1968 in Flint, MI and he preceded her in death on November 5. 2002. Terry graduated from Flint Southwestern High School in 1966 and attended Flint Junior College. She worked at the Sears Outlet Store in Flint, MI from 1981 until it closed. In 1997, she went to work at Bentley Florist in Burton, MI until she retired in 2019. Terry loved all kinds of music and enjoyed going to concerts. Her favorite band was Air Supply. For many years she travelled annually to Las Vegas to see Air Supply in concert. However, what Terry enjoyed the most was spending time with her family. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Terry was a truly wonderful lady who was loved by many.
Terry is survived by her 3 children, Lester (Mary) Remington, Paul (Amie) Remington and Dawn Marie Weier; 8 grandchildren, Ashley Remington, Leslie Mulherin, Lily-Ana Remington, Krislin Weier, Jamie Remington, Lela Weier, Addison Ross and Harley Prime; 2 great-grandchildren, Carter and Eric; 2 cousins, Edward Broniak and Nick Nicholas; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Vera Broniak and her husband, Lester Remington.
