JACKSON, Carol Marie (Hutchings) – of Davison, MI, age 78, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at Ascension Genesys Hospital. Private services will take place at Allen Funeral Home and Laingsburg Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Reverence Home Health and Hospice.
Carol was born in Perry, MI on January 2, 1942, the daughter of the late Lynn and Berniece (Kennedy) Hutchings. She was married more than 40 years to John Arthur Jackson and he preceded her in death. Carol graduated from Laingsburg High School and Hurley School of Nursing. She retired as Director of Genesys Hospice and spent 50 years as a Registered Nurse with many agencies throughout Mid-Michigan. Carol enjoyed sewing, quilting and crafting.
She is survived by her daughter, Virginia Jackson and son, Fred (Becky) Jackson; 4 grandchildren, Kellie, David (Michele), Derrek and KD (Ben); 5 great-grandchildren, Sydney, Isaiah, Aleeyah, Nicholas and Benjamin; 2 siblings, Mary Jane (Harold) Walters and Richard (Sue) Hutchings. She was preceded in death by her sister, Marge Moyses.
