TOTH, Michael J. – Of Flint, age 76, died Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at his residence.
Memorial visitation will be held 1-4pm Sunday, November 23, 2025 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation or Alzheimer’s Association.
Cremation has taken place.
Michael was born in Flint, Michigan on June 2, 1949, the son of the late John and Barbara (Johnson) Toth. He was an MP in the army at Fort Bragg, North Carolina during the Vietnam War and that is where he met and eventually married his wife Darlene. On July 17, 1970, he married Darlene Wrench in Dillon, South Carolina. He started his career at "Chevy in the Hole" where he was a HVAC Apprentice.
He then went on to work for Nelson Trane in Flint Michigan where he eventually retired from in 2016 after more than 30 years. Michael and his wife owned and operated AJ Racers Sports Bar & Grill for 15 years. During that time he met and made many wonderful friends.
Michael enjoyed watching NASCAR and most of all, loved spending time with his family.
Surviving are wife, Darlene;
Daughter, Tiffany (Kurt) Hense;
Grandchildren, Ashley (Billy), Dominic and Jacob Hense;
And sister, Lucinda Toth (Kirby).
He was preceded in death by his sister, Patti Parrish.
