SCHLAUD, Marcia Louise (Waltmire) – of Davison, MI, age 83, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment in Glenwood Cemetery in Flint, MI on a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Davison Missionary Church or the Human Society of Genesee County, in Marcia’s memory.
Marcia was born in Flint, MI on March 21, 1940, daughter of the late Marion and Ella Waltmire. She married Joe Schlaud March 30, 1963 and he preceded her in death on March 27, 2000. Marcia was a member of the Davison Missionary Church and the VFW Women’s Auxiliary. She enjoyed quilting, arts and crafts, watching classic movies and television shows, traveling and gardening. Marcia was very generous and giving. She had a tender heart and loved taking care of animals, especially cats.
Marcia is survived by her son, Robert Schlaud; many other loving family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Ella Waltmire; husband, Joe Schlaud; 3 siblings, Katherine Rohrbough, Russell Waltmire and Richard Waltmire.
