OWENS, Gerald E. - Age 71, of Byron, passed away March 20, 2022. Funeral services will be held 2PM Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E.Broad St., Linden. Visitation will be held from 4-8 PM Wednesday. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association. Gerald was born April 23, 1950 in Flint, the son of Wayne and Evelyn (Hoover) Owens. He retired from General Motors after many years of service. He is survived by his children, John (Tracy) Owens and Tina (Joshua) Johnson; grandchildren, Angie, Jordan, Jessica, Sarah and Wyatt; great-grandchildren, Gavin, Addison, Delaney and Ryan; siblings, Gary (Janell) Owens, Sandy Florkowski, Mel Owens, Seth Meachum and Wayne (Jana) Owens; many nieces and nephews.
