THIEBAUT, Joel Lawrence – of Davison, age 63, passed away August 18, 2014. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 12 NOON Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Grand Blanc United Methodist Church, 515 Bush Ave., Grand Blanc. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to caringbridge.org, Rose Lake youth camp or a charity of your choice.
Joel was born in Manton, MI on April 26, 1951, son of Joseph and Dora (Mathews) Thiebaut. He married Rosemary Spezia in 1974 in Davison. Joel was known as “That AED Guy” as he sold external defibrillators throughout the State of Michigan and taught lifesaving CPR and First Aid skills.
Joel is survived by his wife, Rosemary; children, Chris (Melissa) Thiebaut of St. Cloud, MN, Amy (Troy) Leach of Lake Orion, MI; grandchildren, Samuel, Emmalynn, Sophia, Oliver and Sylvia; siblings, Jay (Vonnie) Thiebaut of Cadillac, MI, Jackie (Claud) Moffit of Manton, MI, Randy (Katrina) Thiebaut of Angola, IN and Jeri Mathews of Manton, MI.
