BYRD, Lola of Davison, age 82, went to be with her Lord on Monday, November 16, 2020 at McLaren-Lapeer. A funeral service will be held 11AM Monday, November 23, 2020 at Davison Full Gospel, World Outreach Center, 2275 N. Irish Rd., Davison, MI 48423. Visitation will be 1 hour before the service. Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery in Coldwater, Michigan. Memorial contributions may be made to the church in Lola’s memory.
Lola was born in Belle Fourche, South Dakota on July 26, 1938, the daughter of the late Truman and Leah (Thomas) Byrd. She pastored for several years in Coldwater, Michigan. The last 20 years she has spent at Davison Full Gospel as the Minister of Prayer and an adviser to other churches throughout the state. Lola was a lifetime student and teacher of the Bible. Her grandmother played a significant role in Lola’s life and taught her appreciation of the Word and Prayer.
She was preceded in death by her 2 brothers and her parents.
