Laura passed away at home on July 26, 2023 at the age of 65. She was born on July 3, 1958 to the late Lucille and Robert Bohms in Goodrich, Michigan.
Laura enjoyed reading, hunting, shooting, camping, bicycle riding, spending time with family and friends, and especially cuddling with her fur baby “Gracie”.
She is survived by her husband, Scott; daughter, Marjorie; grandchildren, Brandon, Kelsey, and Ryleigh; step-daughters, Stephanie (Jayson) and Sarah; step-son, Matt (Tracy); step-grandchildren, Jaycob (Natalie), Emily (Conner) and Reagan; great-granddaughter, Anabel and another great-grandchild on the way; sister, Darlene; sister-in-law, Kristi; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew, and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister, Marsha.
Two Life Celebrations are planned, the first, on August 19, 2023 from 1-4 pm at Goodrich United Methodist Church, 9071 S. State Rd., Goodrich, MI, and the second, on September 9, 2023 from 1 – 4 pm at the Perry Township Hall, 2770 Ellsworth Rd., Perry MI.
In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, Respite Volunteers of Shiawassee County, Shiawassee County Humane Society, or the wishes of the family.
