COBURN, Michael Robert was born in Flint on July 2, 1956 and has passed away at Hurley Hospital in Flint due to complications from Covid 19.
Mike was the 3rd child of Jerry T. Coburn and Irene (Hirschenberger) Coburn of Flint Township.
Mike graduated from Carman High School, Class of 1974. He was very active in sports, and a proud member of Carman’s undefeated football team.
He later went to Lake Superior State and obtained a Bachelor Degree in accounting.
Mike was a father of Nicole Coburn and Nicholas Coburn of Gaylord, Michigan.
Mike was preceded in death by his Grandfather Micheal Hirschenberger and Grandmother Gertrude Hirschenberger, Father Jerry T Coburn, Mother Irene Coburn, and daughter Nicole Coburn.
He is survived by his son Nicholas Coburn and his grandson Maverick Robert Allen Coburn, along with numerous family and friends.
There will be a memorial visitation for Mike at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, on June 17, 2021 at 12pm to 2pm, with a private burial that will take place prior to the services for family only.
