We are saddened to announce the passing of Pamela Shaw, who was born in Flint, Michigan, on May 3, 1953. She was the daughter of John J. and Ilda (Rush) Swartz. Pamela peacefully departed from this world on the 4th of July, surrounded by her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael James Shaw, who passed away on July 15, 2020.
Pamela had a rich and fulfilling life. She graduated from Ainsworth High School and went on to attend Baker College and Cosmetology School. Her passion for cosmetology allowed her to express her creativity and connect with others. She had a natural talent for making people look and feel their best.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Pamela had a variety of hobbies and interests. She found solace and joy in gardening, cultivating vibrant blooms, and nurturing the beauty of nature. Pamela also had a flair for crafting, baking delicious treats, and sewing intricate designs. Her creative endeavors were a testament to her meticulous attention to detail and her passion for bringing beauty into the world. One of Pamela's cherished pastimes was venturing "Up North." She relished the excitement and thrill of competing with the one-armed bandits, hoping for that stroke of luck that would bring her victory. These trips provided her with wonderful memories and a chance to unwind in the company of loved ones. Pamela will be remembered as a kind and caring soul who touched the lives of many. Her warm smile, gentle nature, and compassionate spirit made a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to have known her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with her. Pamela Shaw leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and inspiration. While we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the profound impact she had on those around her. May she rest in eternal peace, forever cherished in our hearts and memories.
