Sharon Elaine Masters, age 81, of Lapeer, passed away on May 18, 2023. She was born in Lapeer on August 12, 1941, to Richard and Marguerite Moore. Sharon worked as a cook at the Lapeer State Home (Oakdale). She enjoyed playing cards, marble games, and watching her favorite game shows. She loved to celebrate birthday parties and get-togethers at her home. Sharon was a loving and caring person. She will be deeply missed.
Sharon is survived by her son Christopher J. Masters; sisters Barbara St. John and Diane Britting. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry "Gene" Masters; her aforementioned parents; son Richard W. Masters; and sister Sandra White.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 25th at 2:00 p.m. at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel in Lapeer. Pastor Jeanne Wisenbaugh will officiate. Friends may visit on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial donations may be made to Lions Bear Lake Camp, 3409 Five Lakes Rd, Lapeer, MI 48446.
