SUTTON, Jeffery Scott – of Flint, age 51, died Sunday, August 15, 2021 at his residence. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, October 3, 2021 at O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, October 3, 2021 from 1:00 PM until time of service at 3:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Michigan Sportsman Against Hunger.
Jeffery was born April 10, 1970 in Flint, Michigan the son of John Sutton Jr. and Cynthia (Gornowich) Nelson. He grew up in Flint, Michigan and attended school there. Jeffery owned and operated his own roofing business. He loved fishing, hunting, and building things. Jeffery also liked spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving are: Children, Jeffery Draper; Nicholas Sutton, Brooklyn Sutton; Step Father, Mark Nelson; Step Mother, Bessie Sutton; Siblings, Stephanie (Carlos Quintanilla) Miller, Todd Sutton; Nieces, Kayla Sutton, Rebecca (Rich) Mason, Jessica Markley, Jasmine (Mitch) Lelievre; Great Nephews, Antonio, Amillio, Santiago, Legend, Jacob; Great Nieces, Shania’lyn, Alyssa; Special Friends, Anthony Collins, Donnie Knapp, Jerry Brett. He was preceded in death by his Parents, John Sutton Jr. and Cynthia Nelson; and younger brother, Jason Sutton.
