McLAREN, David Jeremiah – Of Burton, age 78, died Saturday, March 27, 2021 at his residence.
Private Visitation and service will be held at the Swartz Funeral Home.
David was born in Bay City on May 12, 1942, the son of Fred and Catherine (Zimmers) McLaren.
On June 27, 1964 he married Carol Jarvis and she preceded him in death on November 21, 2016.
He was proud of his service in the U.S. Marine Corps.
David was employed by GM for many years in various jobs.
He loved sports, college basketball and enjoyed collecting things.
Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Surviving are children, Kathryn (Matthew) Johnson,
David McLaren II,
Daniel (Jennie) McLaren and
Amy Seeback;
12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren;
sisters, JoAnna (Virgil) McDonaugh and Nancy McLaren;
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, John, Dorothy, Shirley, Frederick and Michael.
