KREIDER, Cherylynn Chandler -- Age 51, of Genesee Township, died June 29, 2022. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Sunday July 3 at Hill Creek Church, 5363 Hill Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Saturday, July 2 at the church, and again 2-3 PM Sunday July 3. Interment will be 10:30 Wednesday July 6 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Those desiring may make contributions to the National Kidney Foundation. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek..
Cherylynn was born June 12, 1971 in Flint the daughter of Alan Bruce Chandler and Joan Emily (Bishop) Chandler. She grew up in Colorado Springs until age 15, then spent several years living in Reno, Nevada, then came to the Flint area. She graduated from Procter R. Hug High School in Reno, Nevada in 1989. She then earned an Associates Degree in Social Science from Mott Community College. She married Brian Kreider on October 18, 1997 in Harrison Arkansas. Cherylynn worked as a secretary at Outdoor Spaces. She was an active member of Hill Creek Church, She enjoyed serving as an Elder and a Praise Team Member. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Cherylynn will be remembered most for her faith, love of family, and her contagious smile and laughter. She was selfless and always ready to pray for someone to lift them up
She is survived by her husband of 24 years Brian Kreider; children, Tod Kreider of Big Sky, Montana, Charles Kreider of Flint, Anastacia Kreider of Westminster, Colorado; daughter-in-law, Brittaney Kreider; grandchildren, Alisdair, Kellen, and Noah Kreider; parents, Alan and Joan Chandler of Lovelock, Nevada; brother, Jeffrey (Jacqueline) Chandler of Lovelock, Nevada; nieces, Jessicia Schmitt, Jennifer Chandler, Julie Chandler.
