MOSS, Kenneth Earl – of Davison, MI, age 71, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. A Funeral Service will be held 12 PM Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Spencer Snow officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. The family will receive visitors 4-8 PM Monday, December 17, 2018 and 11 AM-12 PM Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the C.O.P.D. Foundation, in Ken’s memory.
Ken was born in Flint, MI on May 8, 1947, son of the late Earl and Suda (Houston) Moss. He was a graduate of Davison High School Class of 1965. Ken proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. Reserves during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1971. He married Betty Stockman on October 22, 1971. Ken retired from Chevrolet Metal Fab in Flint, MI in 2000 after 35 years of service. He loved plowing snow for his neighbors and was a John Deere tractor aficionado. Ken also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Ken is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Betty; 4 children, Jenny Berhe, Jonathan (Courtney) Moss, Michael (Kristin) Moss and Matthew Moss; 6 grandchildren, Kalista Moss, Enoch Berhe, Karisma Moss, Kaleb Moss, Katelynn Moss and Montgomery Moss; very dear friends, Michael (Sandy) Shaker, Michael Stockman and cousin, Paul Armstrong; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by 3 siblings, Nancy Birmingham, John Moss and Dianne Moss.
