ALLARD, Walter J. “Buddy” – of Montrose, age 62, died on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Covenant HealthCare of Saginaw. Funeral services will be held at 1PM Monday, March 15, 2021 at Lamb of God Fellowship – 214 N. Saginaw St., in Montrose. Pastor Tim Hobson officiating. Cremation to follow. The family will receive visitors at the church on Monday from 11AM until the time of service at 1PM.
Buddy was born March 6, 1959 in Flint, Michigan to Albert and Margaret (Dunlap) Allard. He married Teresa Wilkins on July 15, 1978. Buddy worked for Fessler and Bowman, Inc for 25 years before retiring in 2011. He enjoyed spending time up north and camping. In his younger years, he liked to go snowmobiling and taking his sand rail joy riding in the dunes. Above all, Buddy loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Surviving are: Wife, Teresa Allard; Children: Jeff (Tania) Allard, Brian (Kristen) Allard, Johlyn (Anthony) Heystek, and Brittany (Peter) Martin; Grandchildren: Gavin, Landon, Dawsyn, Olivia, Cooper, Ella, Petey, and Jaxson; Father, Albert (Judy) Allard; Sisters: Patty Martin (Bud Watkins), Brenda (James) Cahours, and Debbie Dowd (Dennis Vance), Stepsiblings: Trish (Ryan) Massey, Todd Hayden, Chris (Tina) Vickerman; Nieces and nephews, many other loving family members, and dear friends. Buddy was preceded in death by: Mother, Margaret Allard; Brother, David Allard; Stepbrother, Travis Vickerman.
